Sharon Au (simplified Chinese: 欧菁仙pinyin: Ōu Jīngxiān) is a MediaCorp actress from Singapore. A charmingly modest compere-actress, Sharon has garnered a large following with her friendly and sincere persona over the years. This is evident when she was voted one of the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes in the annual Star Awards, an award ceremony for TV personalities.

Talent-spotted from a Hong Kong stage musical I Have A Date With Spring, Sharon was immediately beamed onto the entertainment stage and started her career since then.

Best known as City Beat's wacky but upbeat host, Sharon has also played numerous roles ranging from a cabaret girl in the stage musical, Beauty World to an enthusiastic radio presenter in the sitcom Right Frequency, each receiving raves for her astounding performance.

Being the No. 1 Variety Show Host in Mediacorp, competent and effectively bilingual, Sharon is the favourite choice compere for most of MediaCorp's variety special programmes. This is further endorsed with her victory when she clinched the Best Variety Show Host Award at the Star Awards for four consecutive years.

Sharon's passion for acting and compering is without boundaries, and she hopes to excel to greater heights in this profession.

She has left for Japan to further her studies in 2005 and is currently a second year student in the School of International Liberal Studies, Waseda University in Tokyo. Sharon is presently pursuing her education endeavor at Jean Moulin University Lyon 3 in France, as part of Waseda University's One-Year international Exchange Program.

Sharon came back to Singapore specially to host the Star Awards 2007 having been missing from the screen since September 2005.
